Louise Blyton and David Coles founded St. Luke Artist Colourmen in 2000.
Louise Blyton was born in Melbourne and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from RMIT University in 1988. She has exhibited extensively in group shows both internationally and within Australia. Louise has also been a curator of group exhibitions. She has had 13 solo exhibitions, has lived and worked in France and the UK and held a Redgate Studio Residency in Beijing, China. Her work is held in private collections in Australia, UK, France, Portugal, China and the USA.
While coming from a painting background Louise decided to major in Printmaking thus developing a true love of process and technical knowledge of materials. Since founding St. Luke, Louise has taught regularly in the techniques of encaustic, egg tempera and gilding.
Kez Hughes graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) majoring in Painting. Kez is a practicing Artist, Lecturer and Curator and has exhibited nationally and internationally.
Luke Whitten graduated from the Massey University College of Creative Arts Wellington in 2011 with a Bachelor of Design (Hons) majoring in Illustration. Luke has exhibited nationally and internationally and works in a range of mediums including stone sculpture.
